# Project 44 String Identification

This might be a long shot but worth a try. Someone sent me a p44 string included randomly with a BST purchase recently. It turns out I really like the string a ton. My issue is the person who sent them doesn’t know what type of p44 string or material they are. They feel heavier, don’t fray very much over time and hold tension well. The string tension overall seems to feel tighter so you can feel the bumps of the twine even after using it a long time. The feeling overall is coarse.

If anyone has any idea of what kind these are and/or where I can get them let me know. If you don’t want to source feel free to message me.

Looks like fat 12, weight though :thinking: place it beside other fat string if it is a bit wider it is the mega

Thank you guys so much. I ended up emailing them and they responded fast. They said these string stood out because the color yellow was slightly denser than other yellows used. It is a string from 2020 know as Mega 14. It is still available by picking these options when you order from them HEAVY - COAR-TEX - NEON YELLOW (Polyester Nylon Yo-Yo String).

This is the first bulk string I’ve come across that really stood out to me. Im excited to finally have figured it out. I didn’t have much hope to be honest. Thanks again!
