Well the Shift Change was already ~$165. Here’s the Japanese translation (google translate): “Collector’s Edition that is made of metal material prototypes Ver.5 Shigunecha model of JAPAN TECHNOLOGY Official Member Maruyama thickness of “Shift Change”. All I can really gather is it’s some kind of metal (maybe titanium?)…must be something harder to machine than aluminum, otherwise I can’t imagine it costing that much. Titanium would explain the price well since 1A titanium throws sell for $500+ now and a 4A throw would use about twice as much. Looks like they only made one. I’m guessing it was a prototype that ultimately they found too expensive to machine and decided to sell it as a collector’s item. Don’t really know though. I wonder if anyone will buy it. ---
