# Possible bearing post damage?

Could someone please lay this straight: I removed my bearing from my Superstar with great difficulty and now a ring of ano has been scraped off the bearing post or whatever it’s called. Is this actually a problem?

Nah, that happens to a lot of yoyo’s with a tight bearing seat.

Sweet. I saw an old post with someone saying It was bad because it causes it to ‘gall’ or something, what does that mean?

To gall means the two metals, the steel bearing and aluminum bearing seat, start to fuse. When this happens, the bearing is incredibly difficult to remove. Think you could show us a pic of the damage?
