# Polishing titaniums

Have a titanium id like to polish it came polish from factory but its got some light scratches im sure most raw yoyos get over time and i honestly have no clue how to polish a raw titanium yoyo if anyone knows how please let me know.
And are their any down sides of polishing?

From my understanding in order to polish Ti you would need to take different grades of (good quality) sandpaper and work your way up till you can get a polished finish, wet sanding, however I would not recommend it.

If it’s polished from the factory, ideally you would only need a polishing compound and elbow grease to get it back up to a polish.

I would assume any of these methods will work for you.
