About 45 minutes from start to finish. Won’t take deep scratches or grooves out… you would have to sand for that. ---

It looks like you are polishing the yoyo with a drill polishing wheel? Have you tried chucking the yoyo on an extra long M4 x 0.7mm screw with nuts on it? (Basically an extra long yoyo axle with hex nuts on the end) I found that spinning the yoyo on the drill (and holding polishing compound against it) rather than the polishing wheel against the yoyo, I could get mirror finishes done very quickly (maybe 10 minutes per half). ---

Yeah, it sounds like that would be easier. I’ve only done about 8-10 of my yoyos with the drill and Dremel. I’ve got various yoyos with different sized axles, and never really got around to buying extra axels to do that. ---
