# Pokemon beginner help?

I never caught a geodude, my current setup I will probably stick with. I enjoy my Pokemon.

Something that really helped me were the Pokedex apps. They give you info about Pokémon and moves, and they really help in deciding whether to teach your Pokémon a new move or not.

Mankey is really your only option at this point, later in the game get you get a hitmonlee from the karate dojo but mankey/primape will work for now.
