Kinda at a loss as to what to do tired of seeing the one half fly against my wall randomly. Scared too over tighten maybe would be better without the take apart design?

I line the threads of the axle with plumbers tape and it fixes all the issues of the tmbr axle system.

Have never used plumbers tape. Wdym? Just tape the wood piece?
