anyone know the mass of PLA plastic vs ABS plastic? I tried looking it up… no luck…

Might have been just the search you were doing. Looking for density, not mass if I’m not mistaken.

PLA Density: 1.25g/cm  
ABS Density: 1.02g/cm

ABS is a very general term referring to a variety of different blends of plastics.

Hmm, didn’t think of that. The one I posted would be referring to a heat extruded form used for certain forms of 3D printers (found it on my CAD program which also happens to be made by a 3D printing company).

Don’t know if that means anything to you or not.
