Hello again, I’ve got the [Queen Bee PiF](https://forums.yoyoexpert.com/t/pif-riforgiate-design-queen-bee/444150) up now, but I have a few more yoyos to get out into the world. I’ve been told it hits a lot of retro feels for an unresponsive design. There haven’t been many people who have had the chance to play with it, but it’s been pretty well received by those who have. I’ve made some changes to the response and gap, so this should be an even better version than the first one I cut. The hub is a little thicker to guarantee durability, and there’s a shmoove groove to compensate for the extra mass. I did some tuneup work on the lathe, so the ripple doesn’t have backlash steps in it, and the response pads sit where and how they should. I’ve also swapped to using @Modern_yoyos pads, which has been an upgrade over the original spec imo. I did my best to keep the MMOI and total mass close to the original, so it should feel the same as the first one did. ![1000016595](https://us1.discourse-cdn.com/flex015/uploads/yoyoexpert1/original/4X/4/8/2/4828717329c878d711f3c7aecd64019ba2d8089d.jpeg) I’ve got 2 versions to go for. They are identical in geometry, though not in function. The titanium was the originally intended design, but at the time I always cut a practice unit from 6061 or 7075 before the titanium to make sure the toolpath was good to go so I could cut down on scrap cost. Turns out that was a happy little accident. The titanium version is around 62g by design. Definitely more of a funsies yoyo than a competition throw with the balance between rim and hub weights, but a solid throw overall. The extra hub weight gets it spinning pretty well, and the lack of mass in general allows for unreal redirects when going through speed trick routines. I’ve taken to calling it the “1st Law” variant because it _really_ likes to stay in motion. Dunno if the name will stick forever, but I think it’s clever for now. I’ve got 1 unit in Ti and 3 in Al to get out into the world and I’d love to get wider feedback. If you’re interested, I’m looking to start a list. Rules: - Link a feedback thread or get a trustworthy user or two to back you to get yourself on the list. I’ll check around and we can get things going - Go ahead and play with them for about 2-3 weeks. If you gotta keep it longer, please update in the thread. I’d absolutely love to hear your feedback once you’ve had the time to get acquainted! - No destructive testing, @Obstinate_Yoyo already helped me out with that. The wall of the cup is only 0.8mm thick and these are more than durable enough to stand up to daily carry and the occasional whoopsie, but don’t push it. Things get dinged, stuff hits walls, yoyos get knocked off tables, I get it, but please avoid intentional sparking and other damage where possible - No private forwarding. Don’t decide where it goes through DM’s please. I’d prefer the wait list to be arranged and facilitated in this thread so I can keep track of things. - Respect the box. Feel free to add things to share with the people ahead of you, use your best judgement to keep a couple things, but don’t just ransack it before sending it on. - Keep me updated on where they are. I think it’ll be fun to track them over time! EDIT: Realized I didn’t post specs for this one 2.2in/55.88mm diameter 1.625in/41.28mm wide .170in/4.3mm gap Ti version is 6Al4V (grade 5) and weighs ~62g Aluminum is 7075 and weighs ~40g The aluminum list is pretty well in order for how people entered, but I shuffled the Ti list around a hair. To be perfectly honest, it was never intended to be playable at all in the first place 🤣 I was genuinely shocked when people were able to get the first one moving so well If it’s already boxed up and shipped out, would you mind dm’ing me tracking information or making sure that the next person gets in touch with me? ---

@here I should have mentioned earlier, but if you don’t mind checking in with me when your unit arrives so I can get you checked off on the list in the OP that would be very helpful. Also, please try to work out the transfer stuff here in the thread so we can try and avoid the aluminum units getting piled onto one person. Didn’t think about how it could be kinda confusing to have 3 identical units moving around… _Also_ also, feel free to drop initial thoughts and feedback here!
