# PIF Play it Forward Modded Responsives

There’s a Deeper State in this PIF too. It throws and catches the string incredibly well. It feels really great. I do like a bit higher of a wall though, for messing around with my stalls. (You _can_ stall it of course. It just doesn’t seem to stick like a high wall does.)

Yeah, the Deeper State is definitely suited to a more 1a style of play. It can pull off quite a bit all while honing you accuracy down. Definitely has a hard time locking in a stall.

My son just landed his first kick flip on this Confusion. He came running across the house screaming in joy with the trapeze still in his hands. 😆
He says he _loves_ how it plays. I know what he’s getting for Christmas now!

As for my thoughts on these yoyos, just know that I haven’t played any of these in their stock config:
- **Bi-metal Bumblebee** - Didn’t really click with me. Feels quite heavy. I used to prefer heavier throws, but the Metal Harbinger (still my #1) made me change my ways.
- **Snack** - Way bigger and heavier than I expected! Fun little throw, but I don’t really consider these wide yoyos all that pocket-able. For me, slimmer is far more important for pocket-ability than diameter.
- **Confusion** - Super comfortable and plays great. Don’t think I need one, but glad I got to throw one finally!
- **Deeper State** - Wow, this plays so smooth. Really loved how it moves. My son even said it feels, “other-wordly”. 😆 Not high enough walls for how I like to play, but plays really great in “Steve Mode”.
- **Deep State** - This one is the winner for me. Smaller than I expected. THIS is a pocket throw! I loved my time with this one. A Deep State has officially made my wishlist now. I’ll play it stock, but will then likely look into Steve’s mod, because this thing is just rad.

The OD’s are the clear winners in my opinion. Found a rekindled love for the Deeper State in this config. I originally liked Deep State better and sold off my Deeper State. Might have to pick one up to mod. Where did you source the washers/spacers?

I use a .01 and a .02 on both the Deep and the Deeper States and that gives the perfect performance. I tighten the Deep State good and tight as well.

I’ve really been concentrating on the One Drops. They play fantastic. I’ll make an assessment of the other but from the few throws they received, I’m no pretty sure they are good to go.

always interesting to hear other ppls takes. the od’s were the ones i was most excited and interested to try and i just did not vibe with the super slims. guess i need my throws to have some junk in the trunk 🤪😆
