# Picked up a Duncan butterfly XT. So I ended up going to four different hobby lobbies and not a single hobby lobby had yo-yos. Somebody said that hobby lobby sells the whip but now looking online they don’t have the whip in the store anymore. So I went to Target and bought a Duncan butterfly XT cost me five bucks. Yeah it’s not a great yo-yo and the string that comes with it is super short like I’m talking it only goes up to like my private area doesn’t even hit my belly button so I had to take the string off and put a new one on. Not a bad yo-yo for five bucks. I guess. Not much I can really see doing with it except for just having it but I really wanted that whip. We just don’t have anywhere to buy yo-yos local. I also have another question. I picked up my sprout and I love it! This thing is amazing. This is probably my favorite yo-yo so far you know I got the featherspin I got a motion yo-yo perpendicular so I do have some smaller undersized. What other yo-yos are around the size of the sprout because I’m actually interested in getting some more of these like mini ones ---

The Butterfly XT is actually a pretty great yoyo to learn some 0A/modern responsive tricks with. I have a couple of them. ---

Also chiming in on the XT - good for 0a tricks, stock string is meh. No idea if they’re available but the Yoyofriends Mini Peregrine X is pretty cool, plays bigger than it is despite it’s similar size. It uses a smaller bearing giving it even more power proportional to its size. ---

FWIW, 0a/responsive stall stuff I find benefits from shorter string length. The stock string still sounded too short for you tho ---

Our Walmart sells Imperials. They’ve grown on me. Landing a trapeze on that is a totally different experience! But I feel like 15 years ago Walmart would carry several options… I miss it. I remember the Duncan Mosquito I bought there being pretty fun. One I’ll have to rebuy someday.
