am i missing something or is there really no way to change my site password?

its rather urgent that i change it…

Profile —\> Account Related Settings.

You can change it there.

i have changed that one already though… im asking about the ‘my account’ at the top of the page, when i log into that it still requires my old password

For your store account when you log in click on Contact Info and at the bottom of that page you can change your account password. This is separate from the forum account, etc.
