# Pad punch prices?

Gonna start experimenting with homemade pads soon.  
For those of you that have lathes, how much would it cost me to get a set of punches? I’d like to start with just the .555 size punches first.

You may be able to find some on eBay or Harbor Freight. It may be hard to find someone to machine something, for you, on here.

I have also been researching making .555 pads. I found some hollow punch sets online and I will be hitting up harbor freight this weekend to check on theirs.

Let me know if you need any help since im going to try doing the same thing. 🙂

What sizes should I be getting?  
I’m thinking either 13mm or 14mm for the inside one, but I’m not sure what the outer diameter is.

If you plan on making them for C sized bearings get the 14 mm. Why don’t you just measure an existing pad?

Yeah I did that. I was being dumb :-X
