# Original Throw Johnathan Sitanggang String

Any one try this out yet? Curious how it compares to OT fat.

Has anyone tried Johnathan sitanggang OT string yet? Curious how it’s width compares to OT Fat and any opinions of it. Trying to decide between it and Hunter’s.

I haven’t tried the new Hunter string yet, but Jonathon string is pretty nice.  
I tried it in the white color, and while slick, it was a little course and fairly thick (I think it fits right between OT normal and OT fat in terms of thickness.)  
The nylon threads give it a nice fast whip speed and slacks formed nicely. On my fingers it felt slick, yet a little rough.

I actually bought a 100 pack of this string, then I tried the Izuru Hasumi string and found that I like that alot better. It’s thinner than Jonathon string and feels softer, despite also being a nylon/poly blend.

Thanks for your thoughts! I actually ended up grabbing some last week. I agree with your thoughts as well. They seem fairly similar to OT Fat but slightly thinner and a little whippier. The texture is also different. One thing I don’t like is when they become worn out they can become pretty rough on the skin. I think OT Fat may hold tension a bit better as well.

I’m curious also about Hunter’s string if anyone reading this has tried it.
