So I’ve been using the Butterball for a couple hours practicing smaller tricks since I’m now learning. I am in love with organics I like how they feel in your hand and I kind of now want another.
I’m also liking the bigger feel of a yo-yo. I might be getting ridd of my rain city Ducc v2 and perpendicular to find another organic

What tricks are you learning on your butterball? And yeah organic yoyos are great. I think you have one of the best available right now.

The abel has very similar specs. I don’t have one but I wonder how much different it would feel in play.

I don’t know. I kind of want to have two organics so I might even go with a fruit loop es or something a little bit different this Butterball is really nice. I just like the way it feels. It feels really good in my hands. Is nice and smooth. It feels good. I’m not going to get the Abel it’s a little too similar even though it’s different. I’m going to try something completely different

try the mk1 palantir. it’s big and round and sounds like a bell as you play but under the hood it’s got a couple choices that keep it very capable in a modern organic sort of way

The Abel is fantastic. Might be worth getting down the road to see how yoyos with similar specs can differ (the way the weight is distributed definitely plays a role in how the yoyo feels/plays).
If you’re not locked in to something bigger and want to stick with Atmos, the Noma. is one of my absolute favorite yoyos and SEs can be fun to play around with.
If you want to go a little bigger, the One Drop Overture is a great throw.
CLYW should also be releasing a new run of Beaters soon (similar specs to the Butterball, but very different feel/play).

I agree about the Noma! It’s super fun! It’s been described as “a little cloud on a string”, which is a pretty apt description.

Of all the yo-yos I’ve had over the years, the Unspoken Murmur is the one that sits on my desk. Not the greatest player, but just a small comfortable organic.
Probably if the remaining go for sale, I’ll hold on to it.

If you like the butterball, I’d big recommend the Gumball. Very fun yoyo that floats like no other.
Another organic I play almost everyday is the Asora V3 from Dreamcraft. This thing is glued to me.

More stable. Slightly less speedy but also wider so it can land tricks a little easier. Better hand feel too.
