As JT said, the engraving on the First Draft’s Side Effect is much thinner than the production one—it’s not the same engraving (presumably because it’s a _first draft_ of the final engraving, ha-ha). ---

Apparently, the production of the Ultra State is unique in that it requires Shawn to stand over the machine the entire time and determine by listening to the sound for signs that something is going awry. Edit to add: I got the impression that it is the next release after Summit 2.
