My Cabal Gen 2 came with orange pads installed… Anyone know what these are? They look like hat pads or something. ---

There was a significant stretch where OD pads switched to a reddish orange. Supply chain issue, IIRC. I love my Cabal 2 but the stock pads were my singular gripe with it. The red pads it shipped with were just way too slippy for my taste, I definitely prefer the clear flow groove. I can see people who use longer/thicker string preferring the red pads though. ---

We did a test run way back in the day and they are just too heavy so we aren’t going to make more. I know there are people out there doing mods of ultra lights so they can have rotating side members. ---
