# One Drop Rebirth is hurting me!

Hi everyone!

Since Christmas i got a one drop rebirth, and it plays very nice but sometimes it’s responsive and hurts my fingers alot 😛 anyone got any idea what the problem is?

what are you doing before it becomes responsive…

clean the bearing, leave it dry. Maybe try a thinner string if your using a thicker one now.

If lube/cleaning isn’t the issue and you use a thick string some Onedrop s can be a little ‘grippy’ at first. Just bind it a lot and break it in.

This is the place to start. It could be a few things so understanding what’s happening first helps. The more the detail the better.
