# One Drop Gradient vs. Terrarian

Which one is better: more stability, grinds better, smooth, stable, fast, etc?

The gradient is great for grinds in my opinion! The shape just hugs your hand as it goes gliding along. The finish that they use on it is also very, very good for grinding. Never used the terrarian…

IMO, pyramatte is adequate for grinding. Saying it’s “very very good” is a bit of a stretch. The Gradient itself is fantastic at grinding, though, making up for the pyramatte.

Gradient is pretty fast. It doesn’t feel stable or forgiving to me because it punishes sloppy play. I’ve heard the Terrarian isn’t all that stable either. Gradient looks better.
