I’m coming around to the #solidsgang lately. It’s just a really clean look. That’s why I like the bimetal styling so much. Retains the clean look while adding a little extra style. ---

I have always been a staunch supporter of solid finishes, and I agree that One Drop’s solids look great. I do, however, lament the loss of color-matched side effects. End of an era? ---

Now this I can agree on. But I must say, I think a right fade can be way better then a good solid ---

Fades are my other go to, but very much depending on color. But splashes/acid washes are just too much and imo make the yo-yo look more like a cheap toy. ---

I can agree to an extent with splashes, but some are better then all. Old CLYW colorways are the best. Old CLYW splashes were a thing of beauty. Petr Kavka Whale, Yogi, Happy Dragon, Cool Ghoul and Northern Lights to name a few of my favorites. ---

The only splashes I own are MFD splashes (which are all Gruntbull work, right?). They are quite dazzling. However, the blended colors they become when spinning often leave much to be desired. It’s an awkward trade-off in my view. ---

There are a select few I can handle. Galaxy and 28 stories, and occasionally another one off i don’t mind. But generally i don’t like them. ---

And remember kids, this Dif-e-Yo shims and a clean bearing gets you a super fun slim unresponsive that makes you really appreciate width in general. ---
