# Offstring

Just started offstring but I can’t seem to bi d the yoyo its killing me I don’t know what I am doing wrong. I am using a DM2

As for your problem, are DM2s adjustable gap? If the gap size is adjustable, make it as tight as you can. Bind with a large amount of string, try to make it catch so the yoyo will return. Also, a DM2 is not ideal for 4A, you might want to look at a Shinwoo Griffin or a Fiesta.

Most yo-yos are harder to bind 4a than 1a… When I was doing 4a with my new breed, i would usually have to wrap it 2 or 3 times before being able to bind

agreed.i have a griffin wing for offstring,and it’s great. you generally need a responsive yoyo for offstring.and you might bend your DM’s rims up, so something a little more durable would be good.

I agree. Yeah, after i get the raptor i will be getting the griffin wing.
