I asked Chris somewhere and Chris replied that it was white paint. He simply paints the rims white. Easy enough to do! :wink:

Acrylic paint won’t hurt the yoyo and it will still come off fairly easily.

Then don’t do that to your Yeti.

Your choice. Nobody is forcing you to do anything.

I think for the videos, having the rims painted really helped a lot.

I did the same thing but with a white oil pastel. Makes it a lot more visible on camera. And if you use an oil pastel it makes it look marbled I it’s no completely colored in. Pretty awesome if you ask me.

Yup, just painted. He did it to make up show up against the black background, as far as I know.
