Tried my hand at making a string today after watching a couple videos. I used some generic polyester thread I found at Walmart. Ended up being a pretty close match for my Roadrunner. It doesn’t play to bad, definitely not as soft as the other premade strings I’ve tried. nice color! from the very little i messed with it, softness depended on thread type/quality and how tightly you wind it during your reduction phase ---
