# Northstar vs Protostar

There is no better yoyo.  
Its down to preference.

Here are the specs for each. As you can see, the only difference is the weight and that one is translucent.

Protostar

Diameter: 55.94 mm / 2.20 inches  
Width: 43.15 mm / 1.69 inches  
Gap Width: 4.43 mm / .17 inches  
Response System: Standard Sized K-Pad  
Weight: 67.0 grams  
Bearing Size: Center Trac Bearing by CBC

Northstar

Diameter: 55.94 mm / 2.20 inches  
Width: 43.15 mm / 1.69 inches  
Gap Width: 4.43 mm / .17 inches  
Response System: Standard Sized K-Pad  
Weight: 69.5 grams  
Bearing Size: Center Trac Bearing by CBC

really theres no difference of the two but i somehow prefer both. Jenssen Kimmit performed world champion 1st place with northstar and the protostar is just natrually really good stable, string trick yoyo. They both are really goood high end plastics performing like a metal yoyo so choose it to prefer yourself. 🙂

Protostar, because I like the colors it comes in.

I’m sure they both play fine.
