This was only my second contest, so I don’t know if he’s done many others, but I thought it was cool that Brett Outchcunis (aka “Ooch”) was the MC. Ooch did a lot of commercials and videos for Yomega and was heavily involved with yoyoing in the 90’s. I knew he sounded/looked familiar! I wasn’t there at the beginning, so I didn’t realize. I rewatched some tricks on my Yomega DVD from 2005 when I restarted learning yo-yo last year. ---

I was definitely outclassed in many respects, but a great time was had by all, good vibes all around! Makes me want to take making it to club more seriously, that drive is tough tho lol ---

Yeah I was also talking to him about the same thing, Philly is prime for another club that meets in the city, the big thing is who wants to be the “anchor guy”. Gotta always have that one dude who is ALWAYS there, even if one other dude shows up, and well… we’re all busy lol ---
