I wanna just run through the rest of the yoyos I have on my worlds list, list is big and I don’t wanna go through each one day by day **CLYW x Duncan | Peakhand PC | C-Tier** Like the al peakhand but without the cool splashes. **SUS Yoyo Mechanics | Generator FD | A-Tier** Highly performant but fatiguing to play with. Powerful, controllable, not crazy fast with surprisingly comfortable maneuverability. A bit boring. **SUS Yoyo Mechanics | Transmission | A-Tier** Undersized done right. Powerful and unique in that it’s such a powerful and capable undersized yo-yo. Nicely maneuverable and quick. It’s just overshadowed by other models, and it’s kind of cylinder-y and heavy-feeling. **C3Yoyodesign | Ambition | B-Tier** Good, but painfully average and heavy feeling. All boss no sauce. **Duncan | Crescendo | A-Tier** The modern Shutter vs Horizon is the Evolve vs Crescendo. Here’s my vote. Light and kinda hollow feeling. Good, but not for me. **TopYo x SUS | Neo Classic | B-Tier** Good yoyo but god it’s heavy and boring **Ensoyoyos | Bapehidora(?) | A-Tier** Fast, maneuverable, solid. Just wish it were slightly bigger so it had more power. ---

While I’m a bit disappointed by the Ambition, I kind of expected it based on the way it’s designed. Was wondering where the TopYo Faceless ranks in your tier list btw? I saw you mention it was one of your favourite plastics and I had already ordered one, but was wondering where it lands/your quick thoughts on it ---

It was mostly just how hollow it felt when I played with it. Not in the pathos-ridden way people use to describe yoyos when they think it’s boring/uninteresting, but literally it felt hollow. It’s been a while since I’ve played with a Ghopper 2.0 so I can’t say for certain, but what I remember is that the Ghopper was extremely powerful. Compared to the ultracut its a lot less rim weighted and feels more floatier. Very controlled feeling and doesnt move as fast ---

I like the Crescendo. The only thing I’m not a fan of is how it binds. I even use OT Sitanggang string and it’s still slippy. ---

It’s been months. Shall I revive this thread with a new review? Apologies for being absent. It’s an easy yoyo to overlook, given that it’s in a category flush with so many yoyos (cheap, sub-$30 plastic yoyos), even on the desk; it’s easy to forget about. What’s the Faceless when the SHXX is right there? What’s the Faceless when the AOE is right there? But the joy of this yoyo is that when you look at it, you think, “I’m gonna play for a sec.” When you’re up late working on something, you look at your Faceless and think, “I’m gonna sesh for like 10-15 minutes”. When you’re running out the door for the day, you look at the Faceless and think, “May as well toss it in the bag for the day.” It’s a great yoyo for that sort of thing. Would I say it’s more performant than the AOE? Not really. Is it a monometal in plastic form? Not exactly. But I will say that’s a great yoyo for getting the job done. In terms of play, what really makes it great is three things: Control, stability, and power. It doesn’t have a huge abundance of power, but it has enough. It’s not inherently unstable; it’s very comfortably stable. And the control is just nice. Where the yoyo really takes it away is the extremely pleasant maneuverability and pacing. There’s absolutely nothing unexpected about the way this yoyo moves; it executes as you input, and it doesn’t fight you. Doesn’t feel heinously sluggish or excessively quick: it’s in a great Goldilocks zone. The only thing it’s truly missing is some mm in width, I find myself wishing for just a bit more with zoning and zontals. A bit less of an “average” playstyle would make this yoyo a bit better as well. **Play: Everyone** > Power: Powerful > Speed: Average > Controllability: Easy > Stability: Average Value: Good Bind: Average Sturdiness: Average ---

A new review? Hell yeah. No, this thread isn’t dead. A quick update in general: Good morning gang, it’s been a few months since I’ve posted anything regarding yoyo, and that’s mostly because I’ve been busy with school, training for an out-of-state job that I’m very excited for, and properly getting into cars. You oldheads are done now that I can make actual car comparisons. This is a great yoyo. Tried the proto at nationals and really liked it. Feels really light and pleasant to play with. Has no sense of lag or overt rimweighted sluggishness; it moves really cleanly. Which is the entire point. Binds are nice and tight. If you know Jack, this yoyo 100% tracks as his signature lol. Dudes got a really flowy, easy style that calls for pleasant, light, and maneuverable yoyos. I can see why he’d want something like this over something like the Savage. If you ask me, this yoyo is what happens when you take the good parts of more oldhead yoyos (lightness, easy redirectability, comfort, etc.) and make it properly “new” and arguably objectively better. Instead of pretending like I’m better because I’m playing with Canvas Copy #918274, I have the capacity to actually try bigger tricks. Main drawbacks and things to consider are that the stability and power don’t quite match top-spec competition yoyos. Don’t expect Wilderness or Halcyon levels of stability and power from this yoyo. (Not what this yoyo is for anyway) Basically? Really pleasant, really easy to use, really comfortable, very re-directable yoyo with the drawback that it feels a bit dainty because it’s so light. **Play: Everyone** > Power: Soft > Speed: Average > Controllability: Easy > Stability: Gentleness Advised Value: Good Bind: Tight Sturdiness: Play Hard ---

GT3 RS for sure!! /s Short answer, Yes-ish? I keep coming back to the Mk3 Supra 🙂 Got a great form factor, the pop-ups are sick, just in general, I find the car really great looking. Getting a 2J or dropping an LS into it sounds like a ton of fun. 90s JDM has my heart (1st gen NSX, RX7, Nissan GTR are all some of my favs), but so does a ton of rally stuff (Not just group B) Love Porsche, especially the 959, 930 Slantnose, 930 in general is just sick. Can’t beat the racing legacy either. E30 M3 is rad 3rd and 4th Gen Trans Ams 😍 5th Gen Camaro b/c Transformers Relevant to the thread, I wanna review/try/buy/trade for a Savage Handcrash.
