I think the “be inclusive to everybody” mentality can only go so far. While everyone in the community seems to generally be nice, not everyone enjoys socializing as much as the next person. It’s nice to have a few particular people you relate to more than others. It doesn’t mean you’re going out of your way to exclude others, it just means you enjoy certain people’s company more and aren’t much of an extrovert. There was yoyo drama back in the day because a few top players had their own private board that was much less family friendly and they didn’t always say the most kind things about other yoyoers. At the time I thought it was messed up, but looking back you can’t really expect the top yo-yoers to always relate to everyone else and since many of them were teens and young adults of course they were going to say things that might offend other people. ---
