The Zealot is a really fun yo-yo. It’s performance is much better than I expected from a “fun” design. I have no trouble finishing the relatively short combos I am capable of with it. I would put it in the YYF AL Dream realm of performance. For $39.95; this is the type of throw that makes you forget about the contest-specs and just have a good, challenging time.
The Hatchet+, however, is a performance powerhouse. It plays like a Hatchet, but with the added power and stability that comes from the bi-metal design. This is one seriously great yo-yo. The Hatchet+ plays somewhat like the YYF Edge; or the Invaders Must Die from YYR; in terms of performance. It is a bit larger than the Edge, so not as forgiving in tight spaces. The price of the Hatchet+ puts it squarely at the top of the price/performance list. For the $60; it is hard to find anything out there to match this yo-yo.
