QFT.

I personally think that the more you LIKE the yoyo, the more comfortable you are, which can lead to a better experience.

Does that make sense in a way? I tried to word it differently.

i think when i get a new yoyo, it encourages me to work harder and learn more tricks. i don’t think it’s the yoyo itself, it’s the thought of a new yoyo.
