Got both today. Haven’t played much yet, so review based on first impressions.
Since both versions are almost the same weight (0.2 difference if I’m not mistaken), impressions are interesting. D baby is much more dense, fast and concentrated, not as airy as its big brother. As if all the power was compressed to one point.

I played both recently, and each has its own unique appeal! The D-bearing version really caught my interest—its smaller size combined with the D bearing makes the yo-yo feel noticeably zippier during tricks.
When switching to the full-sized C-bearing 000, I expected it to feel much heavier, but I was surprised by how light and floaty it played, despite both being similar in weight. You truly can’t go wrong with either; it all comes down to personal preference in size.
That said, I personally lean toward the smaller D-bearing version. It stands out from the wider yo-yo trend dominating the market right now, and I appreciate how it allows for easier navigation through multiple string segments during intricate tech moves.

Still interested in this one! Can anyone comment on how the more rounded edges of the 2024 000 feel compared to the OG? Is it noticeable? The sharpness of those edges always bothered me on the older model.

I can say that edges didn’t hurt anymore. They slightly rounded but it’s not noticeable on pictures, just on fingertip

I’ve been playing the D bearing version quite a bit lately. Really enjoying it.. I feel it has better stability than it’s big brother. Spin time is unbelievable.. Thanks Jeffrey
