# New String Types

back to strings lol, I have only been useing poly and cotten/poly, and I’v done some reading on g strings, chaos, mondo, and angel hair, and notticed how they talk about “holding a loop” what do they meen by that? that means it holds a balanced string tension or something?

Holding a loop, this is like, imagine watching tricks like Follow, Brent Stole, Hidemasa Hook, etc. All of the whip tricks should create a “loop” in mid air, Holding a Loop means that the string in question keeps that loop open and visible, thus making whips and slacks easier to achieve.

If you are looking for good string that hold amazing loops, give Alchemy a try, they are a pain in the behind to break in, and their string tension retention level is horrible (at first) but these things are godly once broken in.

i have thrown kevlar, Its amazing, exept, if your string is just a little too long, it makes your yoyo feel “hollow” because it uncoils sooooo fast, real nice string, FOR BULLETPROOF TRICKS!
