# New Replay is responsive?

I saw a post on Instagram from yyf that it is now also the choice for responsive play.
How does that work? Do the new ones take a slim bearing?

They may be shipping them like Recess ships the First Base. The First Base ships with a slim bearing, but with an extra C bearing so you can make it unresponsive when you want.
It’s really a great idea, the Replay is probably the best yoyo on the market for it’s price, and to make it something that someone can grow into is a great idea.

Same as they did with the DV888s you can buy in the store - slim bearings, thick pads. The DV888’s did not come with a wide bearing, plus you’d have to change out the pads anyway for full on unresponsive play.
