Im glad im not the only one who saw this and thought of the Hendiatris. :joy: 4 years later I still rotate my Hendiatris in regularly. Such an underrated gem. ---

iā€™m very curious about not only the specs but also then what bearing size they will end up using for the side bearings. Everything being said yoyomiracle/tpk was truly a visionary ahead of their time with their superwides and then this ---

For the looks of it, they possibly used a half-spec bearing flat for weight/spec wise. Hopefully theyā€™ll reveal it in the next yoyo documentary video ---

Something to also note about the limitless series: they all weigh 78g. That probably does more for the stability with the extra inertia than the internals do, which, granted, might contribute something (it does seem and I have heard that those yoyos are indeed unusually stable horizontally so Iā€™ll give it that). For reference: the TP Hades is 80 grams and is weighted to play every bit of that weight. If youā€™ve played that yoyo before, you know what Iā€™m talking about. ---

The design as it is, is still too inefficient imo. There needs to be someone who can make it more efficient by making the free spinning component as small as possible (realistically only the response bump area requires to be free spinning) that way there isnā€™t a need for a huge flat hub 1/3 of the way through the profile which increases way too much deadweight. Imo the current limitless lineup being so heavy as they are in total weight is a testament to how inefficient this iteration is with its construction. I do hope people find a way to improve on this design though, as I do see it as a valid progression path worth exploring in the world of yoyo given how much yoyo design seem to be plateauing these days. ---

And itā€™s 42mm wide. At 60mm Iā€™m not surprised the comp Limitless series is as heavy as it is. Hendiatris also is a yoyo that appeals to a different audience than what Mr. Vu is appealing to, if that. I canā€™t help but feel thereā€™s a bit more of a handicap with target audience if the product was made for the producer first, said target audience second. That could also justify such a limited run alongside manufacturing difficulties. ---

It would be extremely easy to shed weight on this design, starting with using half-spec c-bearings on the secondary bearing system. You could also use less aluminum around the seat of those secondary bearings since itā€™s 7075. I feel you could easily shave 5 grams off and keep design profits the same. Just reads as inefficient and unnecessarily bulky. ---
