# New release from MFD - The Backstage Pass!

**From MonkeyfingeR:** Say hello to the Backstage Pass. A project 1.5 years in the making, a collaboration between MonkeyfingeR and Nick Diffatte. Who is Nick Diffatte, you ask? Well, let’s fill you in.
Nick Diffatte is widely considered by many to be a “breath of fresh air” in the comedy and magic world. At 25, he is a featured performer at the world-famous Magic Castle in Hollywood. He has appeared on The Late Late Show on CBS and on the cover of both Genii and Vanish Magazine. Has won multiple awards for both his magic and his comedy, has held multiple long-term residencies on the Las Vegas strip, headlines on Disney Cruise Line and has performed a multitude of shows at casinos, comedy clubs, and corporate events internationally.
Even though he is not himself a yoyo professional, before almost every comedy show for the last eighteen years, Nick can usually be found playing with a yoyo. A few years ago, he took it upon himself to design a throw that incorporates all of the casual, organic elements that he enjoys and with the help of Jesse Kazemeck.
We took a look, gave it a few MonkeyfingeR tweaks, and the Backstage Pass was born!

I like the look of this. Might be time to get my first MonkeyFingeR (if i’m fast enough!)
P.s - did anyone else get fooled by this and wipe their screen? or am i just an idiot :joy:

This looks a lot like a gelada? Can anyone provide insight if this was inspired or is it a just an original design that looks similar?

It’s a original design but there was mention on discord that its the cousin of the gelada so the similarities are there.

yeah thats what im expecting haha… even though theres supposedly a “large” stock, people are crazy, hopefully everyone just kind of buys one and leaves some to go around

That ain’t that quick for MFD. It’s still in stock in some places right now at 9:40.

My first four attempts failed. It was gone from the cart before I could pay. But then my wife and I scored one each. One from Here and one from another store.
I will likely have one up for sale or trade on the BST soon.
But being in Canada it will be a bit of time before they arrive.
