I’m a new player. I have two freehands that I’ve been throwing for about a week now. I’d like to get something better but really have no clue as to what. I’d like to be learning 5a style stuff and have been practicing what I can. I’ve browsed through the forums and know that there’s a list of questions, but I just don’t have enough experience to answer. Can anyone help me out? Or give me some direction? Thanks Ken ---

I personally have the velocity and if you already have two freehands you do NOT need the velocity. And if you can bind, you definitly want a protostar. ---

If it requires a bind, there is no difference between a high end metal and a legacy. I can pull off anything on both. Legacy or protostar are great choices. DM is a big yoyo. Not huge but pretty large as far as yoyo’s go. I’d suggest not getting that due to the hybrid response. It will drive you crazy and then you’ll want to get it modded. ---

Thanks for all the suggestions. I really appriciate it. I got the m1 because I know I’ll eventually want one and since they’re not made any more I got it while I could. I think the protostar will be my main throw for awhile.
