it helps if you can bring your throw hand towards the yoyo as its coming around to go under the string ---

Try searching the forum. Lots of good information. Try this: Start in a trapeze. Put both index fingers in the trapeze loop. Pull your fingers apart, shooting the yoyo up, hitting the string on top, and continuing around to your right (or left if you’re lt handed) into 1.5. This will just help you get a feel for the mount and for the movement to get into it. ---

Another thing, try loosening up by moving your hands closer together when the yoyo is about to hit the string, this makes it easier to slide into the loop… ---

try to put the yoyo close to your hand as possible, it is almost impossible to land it from really far away ---

The 1.5 Mount is sort of like a mini under mount. Go into a trapeze pop off and when you’re about to hit the string bring your non-throwhand and bring it up over your throwhand. The yoyo should align by itself and easily land in the string (it might hit your throw-hand arm)
