# need help!

i’ve got a dv888 responsive yoyo and a speedaholic. The problem is since i haven’t practiced yoyoing for a year the dv888’s bearing is rusted. i’ve got the dv888 and speedaholic almost at the same time but the speedaholic’s bearing isn’t rusted, so why the dv888’s bearing is? And is there a way i can save it? And also, i notice that i can see my dv888’s bearing ball when i open it, but my speedaholic isn’t like that. Is that because i lost some parts of my dv888 bearing? Cai i still use it?

You can see the balls on the dv888 bearing because there are no shields on it. That’s ok, should work fine. Many people remove them. Soak the rusty bearing in WD40 if available, otherwise clean it and lube it. Play it lubed for awhile, then clean it again and lube to your preference.

I would recommend swapping the DV bearing, playing with rust is not good for your health.

thanks for your advice. but i think i will clean the bearing by dw 40.it’s cheaper ;D
