# Need help with my yoyo

Hey guys,  
I just bought a YYF Boss and yes, I’m a total beginner. (I’m new here too!)

Here’s the problem, I have no idea why but, whenever I throw my yoyo, the string tends to be at the side of the yoyo instead of the middle. No need to say, the yoyo isn’t balancing.

Please advice. Thank you.

That’s quite normal. Throw a bit harder and adjust your throw to keep the yoyo balanced. By adjust your throw is meant that if your yoyo tilts to the left, twist your wrist slightly to the right on the next throw. Adjust the wrist in either direction as needed for a straighter throw.

Without using a centering bearing, you will probably never see the string centered. A centering bearing is not needed to throw successfully.
