I love to do Hyper Pendulum, it’s my favorite 5A trick. I was wondering if there is a way to make it less painful when I switch hands doing the trick. Whenever the counterweight passes from one hand to the other, it slams on to my fingers and more than once bruised my hand. Is there a technique I’m missing? Or maybe a mod to the CW will help?

By the way, I’m using a Duncan dice; the one that comes packaged with a FH2.

Use a softer CW to practice, once you got it down without hitting any vital organs, switch back to your die.
