If there is a counter-weight thread already going i am sorry and please direct me toward it. But just a few quick questions. 1. What makes a counter-weight good? 2. Is a heavy counter-weight bad? 3. I have carded out a small piece of soapstone and am planning on using that for a counter-weight what do you think? (Soapstone is a pretty dense material, scratches kind of easy, but it has a pretty good feel to it) ---

How good or bad a counter weight is just depends on your preferences. If you like a little heavier counterweight then that’s fine. BTW soapstone sounds like it would be a cool counterweight! ---

One good drop and that soapstone is powder. I do like the feel of it too though. Doesn’t taste too bad either. lol The heavier the slower, the lighter the less you can whip that sucker around. There is a good weight but I just don’t remember it right now.
