Yo 3A is in desperate need of some tutorials and I might as well make some. I’ll put them in the posts below. Please let me know if you have any feedback at all or if there are any tricks you think I should add to my list of 3A tricks that need tutorials. ---

Yo I made a couple more tuts. One for Coro bc there are no tutorials out there that address the common problems people have and either make the trick seem way too complicated or don’t explain anything at all. ive been checking out some styles beyond 1a. im not sure im gangsta enough for 3a, but if i get a wild hair someday, i imagine its pretty important to have a matching pair is it not? i don’t have 2 of anything and I’m not sure what makes a yo good for what 3a tackles so I’m just curious what it would take to get off the ground ---

Nah you don’t need a matching pair to start learning and can start learning whenever. @ice1000 barely knew any 1a when they started playing 3a but having a decent grasp of 1a fundamentals will definitely help with early woes. As far as yoyos go, I recommend just copping a cheap pair like n12s or cyber crash 2s to start. Whatever you choose is going to get really beat up. For getting started matching pair doesn’t matter too much. Try using matching pair for symmetric tricks, but symmetric tricks aren’t beginner level anyway. You can even use a plastic yoyo with a metal yoyo for 3A, it’s doable ---

You are so right tho like better late than never. Also very cool to hear that you are excited diving into the style. 3A can definitely be rough at first but stick with it and it really does become less awkward feeling. Once you become familiar with all the common tangles it gets way better also because then you can spend more time playing and less time unknotting string. One thing that has been annoying me is that my cheap Amazon throws are horrendous at binding. Maybe not the end of the world but really difficult. I tried other throws with my left hand and they bind fine. So I found a used set of save3a titans. I know I don’t need anything fancy yet but mentally I just need a matched set lol ---
