what is he doing at 4:10 to 4:25? im dying to know

The first part of the trick is a slack maneuver. It is similar to getting into a Houdini mount and then circle the string loop on your finger around. Play around with that a little.

The next “flick” sorta thing is a string rejection. Here’s a quick tutorial on the general concept:

That slack spin trick is follow. The triangle thing looks like a variation of reverse brent stole.
