Paint thinner. Drop a bit in the recess, leave it for an hour, the snot will soak it up and detach from the metal. Just don’t put any up your nose, it’s toxic :wink: ---

I"ve never tried it on plastic, so I can’t comment. My deck is being redone or I’d go test one of my broken plastics for you. ---

DO NOT use paint thinner on plastic… The last time I did, my yoyo was completely deformed and screwed up. The plastic dissolved… ---
