# Mini yoyo string recs?

Hi, I have a snack. It’s a great throw, but I have an issue doing ninja vanishes and it binding and smacking my hand. Currently, All I have are kitty fat strings or something similar. Does anyone have a recommendation for a thinner yoyo string for mini yoyos? Lmk thanks!

I think rain city skills carries “micro yoyo” string since they have several throws in the “micro” category. I use skyline 3 (relatively thick) on my snack and rarely have problems with snagging. Is your snack pretty new? Maybe the pads just need broken in more?

I am using Executive Class on mine, only slightly less fat than the Skyline III and also no problems for me. I would check your bearing first. I m sure that The Kitty Fats are thinner than both of the mentioned strings so I’m not sure how much thinner strings will help. I’ve not gotten to this trick so I can’t say with certainty whether string could be a problem but I know that a bearing can become responsive and a cleaning can help.
