I’m looking for a metal yo-yo that would have a similar feel or play as the Laguna by One Drop. The Laguna is one of my all-time favorites. I find myself picking it up over and over again. I really like how fun and alive it feels. It does have some draw backs though. For example, it doesn’t spin as long and hand grinds aren’t as good. For those of you who have played it do you have any recommendations for a similar yo-yo that is metal? ---

The laguna is super special in how light it is, but still powerful for a plastic. The laguna plays really light, I think some people might agree with me when I describe it as floaty, but I’m not sure. I really hope OD makes it into a hybrid, or makes the shape out of 7075 and trims it up to keep it light. The Wildless 2 has a really similar shape, but is heavier in comparison (65g vs 62g). They do feel different(heavy/light on the swing), but they have a lot in common. I have one, and if it was blasted I could see it being a contender. They have blasted ones, and for $40 I thought it was worth mentioning. ---

Don’t know why I didn’t think of this, but maybe the crucible? I don’t think they’re _super_ similar, but they’re both light. I don’t have my crucible on hand, I’m lending it to a friend, but I’m curious to play them back to back. ---

Crucible feels a lot more dense. Boosted rainier feels quite close though. ---
