# maverick thumb grinds

I started thumb grinding with my maverick and like black smut or something is all over my thumb anyone else has this problem.

Balck … smut? Well I think I know what your talking about. And I do belive the finish is coming off. Don’t know why. Mine never had that problem. If it’s new i’d consider returing it.

Mine’s black and it doesn’t do that ??? Yeah, the finish is coming off,what else could it be?

Happens to 888’s to, after a while all will be gone under the lip and you won’t get any more on your thumb.
