# Matador play is challenging

I keep trying to balance my yyj theory on my finger to do matador play but it seems to not work properly… Any tips? I know to throw it like banana turnover, but it just won’t stay on my finger for the life of me.

Try getting there from a more controlled trick rather then banana turnover. I find that helps you get the concept down.

Can’t get the hand of it at all myself. Finger spins are at least do-able so I just do those instead.

That looks like it hurt. anyway, I also am having trouble with matador play, it could also be that my only matador capable yoyo is the Orbitron 5000, it is also WAY too wide to put my fingers around and into the cup of the yoyo and onto the spike.
