# Magic drop

When I try todo magic drop, yoyo lands on both string. How can I make my yoyo land on the back string?

Practice.

Literally, just try to make it land on the back string.

That’s how I learned it.

try pointing your free hand down. it will spread the segments a bit. don’t use your thumb, as it really detracts from the flow of things like shockwave/kamikaze,
