# Magic drop landing on the back string

When ever I am doing magic drop I can never land the yoyo on the back string. I can get the rejection no problem thought. what should i do?

Well you’re actually landing it on the bottom string but you point your finger down to make it the back string

Insert your non throw hand thumb to create separation between the strings and push your non throw hand forward slightly

I’ve always hated magic drop. Here’s something I learned; when in a trapeze, pinch string on your non throw hand and when you swing the yoyo towards your throwhand do reverse black hops type motion and chop the string with your throwhand index finger. It should land into a magic drop type figure. I just find it alot easier.
