# Looping setup (Initiator)

I hey all! I got a couple of Initiators for looping, and I’m finding that it seems to catch a bit too much when doing sleeper tricks (around the worlds, ufo etc) it could be technique, but is there any adjustments anyone found to make them a bit less responsive? I’m not a big AA guy, so any other advice is welcome 😁

Cleaning the bearing helps a bit without putting lube and try using normal/regular string for less friction of the starburst since the gap of initiators works perfectly on fat strings.

Clean the bearing but keep it DRY and use like OT slim or kitty normal are the two popular ones. They are out of the box pretty darn good at all things sleepers and if your new to looping its is very likely technique.

Thank you! I did put type 6 kitty strings on it which helped a lot. I’ll clean the bearings too.
